The number of undernourished people around the world is rising. Feinstein is investing in research and education aimed at reversing this trend and meeting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Global Hunger by 2030. Our mission is to protect and strengthen the lives, livelihoods, and dignity of people affected by or at risk of hunger or humanitarian crises.

In collaboration with our colleagues across the Friedman School, we examine world hunger in its full complexity — from molecular processes to planetary food systems, from laboratories to farms, and from individual suffering wrought by hunger and malnutrition to the broadest impacts on economies and the development of nations.
