Uganda’s Daily Monitor publishes on Feinstein Report

The Daily monitor, one of the  major daily newspapers in Uganda, published an article of “School’s Out: Why Northern Uganda’s Girls and Boys Are Not Getting an Education and What To Do About It.” The report was released by Dyan Mazurana, Teddy Atim, and Anastasia Marshak in August, 2019.

One of the key points from the the articles notes, “The study states that between 2013 and 2018 levels of education and post-primary transition remain low overall, particularly for girls because of gender inequality and economic hardships.”

The article summarizes the report and discusses the toll that the war has taken on school attendance in Northern Uganda.
