Feinstein researchers publish on Uganda, disabilities, and war crimes in Third World Thematics

On December 1, Feinstein researchers published an article in Third World Thematics. The article, “Disability and recovery from war in northern Uganda,” explores the prevalence and impact of disabilities resulting from war crimes committed by parties to the conflict between the Government of Uganda and the Lord’s Resistance Army. In addition, the article considers Uganda’s promising legal framework of rights for persons with disabilities.

Feinstein’s Dyan Mazurana, Anastasia Marshak, Rachel Gordon, and Teddy Atim all worked on the article, along with Jimmy Hilton Opio.
