Mackenzie Seaman and Elizabeth Stites published their article, “Family Matters: Older Refugee Minors in Vienna and Factors for Resiliency” in the Journal of Refugee Studies. This article challenges the assumption that the absence of adult caregivers always breeds greater vulnerability among young refugees who have received international protection. It comes out of research that Mackenzie conducted under the Partnership on Youth, Migration, and Resilience Project as a MALD (’19) student at The Fletcher School.
