Karen Jacobson lectures on US Immigration Policy in the Trump Era

On Wednesday, March 27th, Karen Jacobsen lectured at the American University in Cairo. The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy hosted the lecture.

She discussed the US refugee and immigration policy as it is playing out globally, as well as US asylum policy at home under the Trump Administration. Additionally, Jacobsen compared how US refugee and asylum policy changed in 2019 compared to earlier administrations, and what might be expected by way of US admissions and refugee funding for this year.
