Greg Gottlieb quoted in NPR’s article on quality of food aid in Puerto Rico

On June 22, 2018 NPR published an article, “Food Aid to Puerto Rico is Salty, Sugary, and Unbalanced, Researcher Says.” The article references Greg Gottlieb, who compared the poor quality of food aid sent to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria to aid delivered to the Soviet Union in the 1990s. In both cases the aid packages included things such as chips and candy, foods with high amounts of sodium and sugar. Read the full article here
