Feinstein Researchers analyze social connections during displacement in the Journal of Refugee Studies

Elizabeth Stites, Alex Humphrey, and Roxani Krystalli published an article in the Journal of Refugee Studies titled, “Social Connections and Displacement from South Sudan to Uganda: Towards a Relational Understanding of Survival during Conflict,” which examines the importance of social connectedness for South Sudanese refugees.  This article is based on in-depth qualitative research with South Sudanese refugees in Uganda and analyzes the ways in which these refugees form and maintain new social relationships.
