Evan Easton-Calabria publishes in Fletcher Forum of World Affairs
Evan Easton-Calabria published her article “Raising the profile of climate-induced displaced people in cities” in the Fletcher Forum of World Affairs.
Increasing recognition of the scale of climate migration has prompted mayors and other city leaders around the world to increase climate action and preparations for climate-induced urban displacement. However, the article explains that the general and specific needs of climate-induced displaced people and the cities that host them may continue to go unmet without further research and attention to this particular population. To shed light on the concern, Evan explores the risk that people who are displaced to cities have of being displaced again and offers ideas on next steps for municipalities.
