In February 2020, Roxani Krystalli participated in an invitation-only workshop on narratives, feminism, and violence, hosted at the Swedish Defense University by Professor Annick Wibben. Roxani and the fellow workshop participants discussed narrative approaches to researching violence, and the various ethical, methodological, and political dilemmas that arise when working with narratives of violence. Roxani’s contributions to the workshop built on her published work on this topic, which most recently included a chapter in the Handbook on Gender and Conflict, a preview for which is available here.
