In November, Roxani Krystalli attended a Folke Bernadotte Academy workshop in Sweden, convened by the Swedish academy for peace and development. The workshop focused on Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DRR) and Roxani presented her ongoing research on the political lives and aspirations of former combatants, with an emphasis on her fieldwork in Colombia. The gathering drew together researchers and practitioners from around the world, working on DDR from an academic and policy perspective and focusing on diverse case studies.
