Hussein Sulieman, a Feinstein Visiting Fellow, published a blog post in Chr. Michelsen Institute (CMI) on why Gadarif, Sudan became a Covid-19 hotspot and how that has dramatically impacted seasonal agriculture and the pastoralist community. Sulieman also discusses how the virus exacerbated acute malnutrition in Gadarif and increased the burden on a healthcare system that is already suffering.
