Greg Gottlieb discusses US response to Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico

On September 27, 2017, six days after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, Greg Gottlieb joined Julio Ricardo Varela, co-host of the ‘In The Thick’ political podcast and Rep. Jeffrey Sanchez of Boston, who has family in Puerto Rico to discuss whether the federal government is doing enough for Puerto Rico with Jim Braude on WGBH.

Greg also discussed the response efforts with the LA Times. In this story, he describes the need to improve relief coordination. He notes that, “[officials] saw the hurricane was going to make a direct strike, but there is a lot of aid coming into Puerto Rico now that they should have had before it hit.”
