Elizabeth Stites discusses Gender and Conflict with ICG’s Ambassadors

Elizabeth Stites participated in a panel hosted by the International Crisis Group (ICG) aimed at helping the organization better incorporate gender into their analysis of conflict situations around the world on April 18, 2016. She joined Sanam Naraghi-Anderlini, Co-Founder and Executive Director of ICAN, Gary Barker, CEO and Founder of Promundo on the panel for the Crisis Group’s Ambassador Forum on Gender and Conflict. The panel answered questions on what we can learn by viewing conflict through a gendered lens, the role of women in peace-making processes, and the ways in which armed groups use gender as part of their recruitment processes.
