Dyan Mazurana and Phoebe Donnelly published an article “Sexual Violence in Conflict” in the the March 2016 issue of the Crisis Response Journal (Volume 11, Issue 3). In this article, Mazurana and Donnelly use myths and facts to show why understanding if, how, why, when, against who, and by who sexual violence is used must be a central part of how we respond to armed conflict.
