Abubakr Siam, El Thahir A. El Tahir, and Merry Fitzpatrick published their blog “Responses to COVID-19 Pandemic in El Fasher and rural areas of North Darfur, Sudan” on the Sudan Conflict Sensitivity Facility website. The blog discusses the containment measures that were put in place in North Darfur and the impact that these measures had on people’s livelihoods.

The study was undertaken as part of the Taadoud II project in 2020, when the planned research was paused due to COVID-19 restrictions.
