Marie O’Reilly is Head of Research at The Institute for Inclusive Security, where she examines why inclusion matters and how it can be achieved. Prior to joining Inclusive Security, Ms. O’Reilly conducted research, writing, and data analysis on issues relating to inclusive security, conflict prevention, and peacebuilding for the Economist Intelligence Unit, the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations, and the United Nations Development Program. Most recently, she served as Editor and Research Fellow at the International Peace Institute in New York. She has also worked in management consulting with Accenture, on human rights and video advocacy with Witness, and on European affairs at the Centre for International Studies and Research in Paris. Ms. O’Reilly holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and an MA in international security and conflict studies from Dublin City University.
