Bretton James McEvoy is a PhD Candidate at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. His research focuses on legacies of violence and how they manifest in the present-day United States.  In particular, his dissertation engages predominantly white anti-racist projects, examining how the structurally advantaged struggle to shift the relational structures that perpetuate racial violence and inequality.
