The 2022 Humanitarian Crisis in Karamoja, Uganda – KRSU publishes a real-time review

In 2022 Karamoja’s severe and long-term food security and livelihoods problems evolved into a humanitarian crisis, with substantial loss of human life. Authored by Adrian Cullis and Raphael Lotira Arasio, the Karamoja Resilience Support Unit’s real-time review of the crisis describes the timeline of hazard events against the humanitarian response and examines early warning systems, coordination, and use of crisis modifiers as the crisis worsened.
