- On April 6, 2018 African Women Rising (AWR) held its second annual Goat Fest. Proceeds from the event will enable the purchase of 300 goats for people AWR serves in Northern Uganda. MAHA alumni, Tom and Linda Cole are the co-founders of AWR. See the story in the Santa Barbara Independent here.
