On May 24, 2015 Dan Maxwell addressed the announcements plenary at the World Humanitarian Summit. The plenary was a forum that ran parallel to the main plenary at the summit where member states, UN agencies, and other involved parties announced their commitments to the “Agenda for Humanity” that was laid out in the Secretary General’s report for the summit.

Dan discussed the commitments that researchers and teachers make to humanitarian action and the 125 million people around the world in acute need.
