Anna Ronell

Anna Ronell manages general administration, procedures, and workflow of nonfinancial functions for the Feinstein International Center, including overseeing the Visiting Fellows and Summer Grants programs. She serves as a liaison between the Center and other Tufts University departments and schools. She supports the Center’s director on a variety of activities to help meet the Center’s overall strategy and goals. She also supports Feinstein faculty and researchers with events, recruiting, scheduling, travel arrangements, and business expenses.

Before joining Feinstein, Anna worked at The Fletcher School, managing two centers focused on international affairs, U.S. foreign policy, human security, and migration. She first managed the Center for Strategic Studies and then the Henry J. Leir Institute.

Anna earned her PhD in Near Eastern & Judaic Studies from Brandeis University. She is an independent scholar whose research interests include Jewish experience in the USSR, World War II and the Holocaust in the USSR, Modern Middle East, Russian Israeli culture and society, and world-wide Russian-language Jewish diaspora. She has worked on research and education projects at Penn State, MIT, and Wellesley College and published in numerous academic journals including Prooftexts, Polin, and Journal of Modern Jewish Studies.
