On February 13, 2018, Roxanne Krystalli participated in the launch of the special issue of Disasters journal, dedicated to gender, conflict, and humanitarian action. The event took place at Overseas Development Institute in London. Roxanne presented key findings on gender, refugee crises, and hierarchies of humanitarianism, based on her research team’s recently published article on this topic in the special issue. The event drew together representatives from DFID, academic institutions, and practitioner organizations.
