AKLDP releases report on the impacts of the El Niño drought in Ethiopia

The Agriculture Knowledge, Learning, Documentation and Policy Project (AKLDP) released Field Notes exploring the impact of the 2015 drought in northern Ethiopia, after releasing notes on the same region in February. The newly released report documents the extent of negative effects from the drought, characterizes borrowing practices in northern Ethiopia, and thoroughly describes the causes and trends of household indebtedness in the region. This is part of the AKLDP’s effort to produce rapid analysis of the drought in Ethiopia to support aid responses.

The USAID/Ethiopia AKLDP project is implemented by the Feinstein International Center.
