The Feinstein International Center is a research and teaching center based at the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. Feinstein’s mission is to develop and promote operational and policy responses that protect and strengthen the lives and livelihoods of people living in crisis-affected and marginalized communities. The Center conducts research on the politics and policies of aiding vulnerable people, on protection and rights in crisis situations, and on the restoration of lives and livelihoods. The Center’s research underpins teaching and policy responses, and we have long-term partnerships with humanitarian and human rights agencies. Feinstein faculty teach at both The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. The Feinstein International Center also has an office in Addis Ababa that supports Tufts research in the Horn of Africa.
