Ann O’Brien manages procedures and workflow of nonfinancial functions for Feinstein. She manages the director’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements as well as travel and business expenses for other Feinstein faculty and researchers. She also manages the Visiting Fellow and Summer Grant programs. She also serves as a liaison with other university departments and schools.
Before joining Feinstein, Ann spent twenty years in state government. There she completed numerous training courses and held a variety of positions including assistant executive director, deputy commissioner, and personnel director responsible for the day-to-day management of administrative and personnel functions of the Public Employee Retirement Administration. Prior to that she worked in Massachusetts Governor King’s office on special projects as assistant to the chief secretary.
Ann is a lifelong resident of Medford. She enjoys spending time with her family and vacationing to Aruba and the Cape.
