The Karamoja Resilience Support Unit (KRSU), in partnership with the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), commissioned the adaptation and roll-out of the Pastoralism, Policy and Practice Course.
KRSU organized the first of a series of Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops to kick-start the adaptation. The 5-day workshop consisted of the following sessions:
- The strategic value of a training course on Ugandan pastoralism and agro-pastoralism.
- The adaptation objectives, process, activities, and deliverables.
- Institutional framework and arrangements.
- Introduction to the East Africa training course.
- Definition of work plan.
