Dr. Ammar ElSheikh Idriss, Director General of Planning and Livestock Economics at the Federal Ministry of Animal Resources in Sudan describes the situation of livestock in Sudan and explains how research has helped inform the strategic direction of and funding for the ministry. This video was made for the the BRACED Annual Learning Event in February 2018 as part of Helen Young and Anne Radday’s session, “Using Research to Understand Vulnerability and Resilience in Fragile Contexts.”
