Liz LaytonAdministrative Assistant
Liz Layton serves as a liaison for projects based in Africa and South Asia, including Chad, Sudan, Somalia, Nepal, and Uganda. She handles travel arrangements and expense reports for principal investigators, researchers, and consultants.
Liz previously worked as a policy and program management assistant at the Group Insurance Commission (Commonwealth of Massachusetts). She has also worked in healthcare, finance, construction, and telecommunications, as well as at a rare book shop on Beacon Hill.
Liz holds a B.A. in English literature from Randolph College and also studied at the University of Reading, UK.
Liz is a volunteer budget delegate for the city of Cambridge, MA. Every proposal she has worked on for the participatory budget project has been funded.
