Ann O’BrienAdministrative Manager
Ann O’Brien manages procedures and workflow of nonfinancial functions for Feinstein. Her work includes overseeing the preparation of hiring for staff and students, monitoring payroll, and managing the Visiting Fellow program, the Practitioner Expert program, and the Summer Grant program. She oversees building maintenance, ensures the department website is updated, manages the scheduling and execution of materials from Feinstein staff, and serves as a liaison with other university departments.
Before joining Feinstein, Ann spent twenty years in state government. There she completed numerous training courses and held a variety of positions including assistant executive director, deputy commissioner, and personnel director responsible for the day-to-day management of administrative and personnel functions of the Public Employee Retirement Administration. Prior to that she worked in Massachusetts Governor King’s office working on special projects as assistant to the chief secretary.
Ann is a lifelong resident of Medford. She enjoys spending time with her family and vacationing to Aruba and the Cape.
