The Resilience Learning Project Releases Request for Proposals – Deadline January 15, 2016

The Feinstein International Center’s Resilience Learning Project (RLP) is seeking proposals for technical assistance to support the institutionalization of improved teaching on pastoralism into four selected universities in Kenya via the Pastoralism and Policy Options Training Course. There are four deliverables to be completed by July 31, 2017:

1.  A short policy-oriented training course adapted to Kenya targeting national and county level policy actors and practitioners.

2. The adaptation and integration of the policy-oriented training into graduate and post-graduate curricula in four universities.

3. The establishment of a pool of 24 accredited trainers/lecturers (30% women) with the skills to teach both the short policy-oriented course and the adapted training within the four universities.

4. One student text book on pastoralism developed and printed in time for the 2017 academic year.
