Feinstein team participates in Tufts Research Day on Global Food Security

Tufts University celebrated its 2016 Global Research Day on April 25, 2016, with a focus on Global Food Security. The day long event featured speakers from across Tufts University including Feinstein’s Dan Maxwell, Anastasia Marshak, Merry Fitzpatrick, and Janet Kim.

Dan facilitated a break out discussion on Humanitarian Emergencies and Food Security Shocks.

Anastasia, Merry, and Janet collaborated to share learning from three Feinstein food security research projects. They addressed collaboration and learning around methodology, field approaches, and findings. The three projects they highlighted are Sudan Humanitarian Assistance and Resilience Program (SHARP) in Sudan, Promoting Agriculture, Health and Alternative Livelihoods (PAHAL) in Nepal, and Community Resilience to Malnutrition (CRAM) in Chad.
