In July 2018, Berhanu Admassu was appointed to the Board of the Ministry of Science & Technology (MoST) in Ethiopia. This appointment recognizes Berhanu’s strong qualifications and Tufts’ work in Ethiopia for the last twelve years. Berhanu is the first  board member with a non-political, university affiliation.
