Anastasia Marshak presents 4-year study findings in Chad

Anastasia Marshak presented at the February 8, 2017 Concern Worldwide Building Resilience against Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) dissemination conference in N’Djamena, Chad.

The conference brought together representatives from the regional (Sila region) and national government of Chad and international and national NGOs interested in agriculture, livestock, health, and water, to discuss resilience in Chad. The program also included a discussion of findings from two Concern programs: Community Resilience to Acute Malnutrition (CRAM) and BRACED. Anastasia presented findings related to a four-year evaluation of the CRAM project. Additionally, Concern’s country director (Cardinal Uwishaka), the BRACED knowledge manager (Colette Benoudji), the Chad Secretary General, the Goz Beida base manager (Isaac Gahungu), and ICRAF (Divine Foundjem) all made presentations related to the BRACED program in Chad.

The conference generated greater interest in the work and a desire for further learning about resilience in Chad.
