Research with Refugees: Pulling Back the Curtain
On Wednesday November 1, Kim Wilson and Roxanne Krystalli will be speaking at the Research with Refugees: Pulling Back the Curtain event. Following Kim and Roxanne’s discussion, Gregory Gottlieb will moderate a Q & A session. Kim and Roxanne will discuss the practicalities of refugee research. They will cover topics including how their research team navigated dilemmas of power during fieldwork, the ethics of working with refugees, dilemmas the team faced while working in Greece, Jordan, and Turkey, and how students, researchers, and practitioners can think about ethics and methods regarding refugee research moving forward. This event is part of a series launched by the Henry J. Leir Institute for Human Security.
The event will be held at the Cheryl A. Chase Center at Tufts University from 5:30pm until 7pm.
