Thinking Outside the Tent on Humanitarian Shelter Assistance in an Increasing Urban World with Chuck Setchell

On Thursday November 30, 2017 Chuck Setchell will hold a discussion during a brown bag lunch at the Feinstein International Center. Chuck is the Senior Shelter, Settlements, and Hazard Mitigation Advisor for USAID/OFDA and has over 40 years of experience managing the process of physical, social, and economic change in the United States and abroad. At the event Chuck will provide an overview of USAID/ OFDA activities in urban areas over the past several years in response to– and anticipation of– crises. He will also discuss current and foreseeable projects and highlight the need to link humanitarian assistance and reconstruction efforts to achieve positive outcomes at scale.

The event will be held at the Feinstein International Center from 12:30pm to 2pm.
